Adran 1

DATHLU AMRYWIAETH

Nod y gweithgareddau yn yr adran hon ydy adnabod, rhannu a dathlu ein gwahaniaethau. Gall amrywiaeth fodar sawlffurf, megis lliw ein croen, crefydd, cenedligrwydd neu ddiwylliant, er enghraifft. Mae’n bwysig cydnabod amrywiaeth y rheiny o’ch cwmpas, gan gynnwys disgyblion a chydweithwyr a sut gallai eich cefndiroedd a’ch profiadau chi a nhwsiapio eich/eu safbwyntiau am y byd a’r rheiny sy’n rhan ohono.

Section 1

Celebrating Diversity

The activities in this section are aimed at recognising, sharing, and celebrating our differences. Diversity can take many forms, in our skin colour, religion, nationality or culture, for example. It is important to recognise the diversity of those around you, including pupils and colleagues, and how both your own and their backgrounds and experiences may shape their perceptions of the world and those within it.

Adran 2:

CHWALU STEREOTEIPIAU A MAPIO GRYM

Gallai hiliaeth fod ar sawl ffurf o fod yn rhyngbersonol, megis galw enwau rhwng unigolion, i ragfarnau mewnol am grwpiau o bobl a hyd yn oed strwythurau neu sefydliadau sydd wedi’u sefydlu mewn ffyrdd sydd o fantais i rai pobl droseraill. Er enghraifft, yn y DU, gallai hyn olygu pobl wyn o dan fantais o gymharu â phobl Ddu neu bobl nad ydyn nhw’nFwslimiaid o gymharu â Mwslimiaid.

Nod y gweithgareddau yn yr adran hon ydy chwalu’r stereoteipiau a’r camdybiaethau sy’n treiddio trwy’r holl ffurfiauhyn o hiliaeth ynghyd â deall pwy sy’n meddu ar rym er mwyn inni gymryd yr awenau a newid y byd er gwell.

Section 2

Unpicking stereotypes and mapping power

Racism can take many forms from interpersonal, such as name calling between individuals, to internalised prejudices about groups of people and even to structures or institutions that are set up in ways that advantage some people over others. For example, in the UK this could be white people over Black people or non-Muslims over Muslim people.

The activities in this section are aimed at unpicking the stereotypes and misconceptions threaded through all these forms of racism and understanding where power lies so that we can take responsibility to change the world for the better.

Yn anffodus, fe welwn ddigwyddiadau hiliol niweidiol yn y byd chwaraeon, yn ogystal â’r gymdeithas ehangach, dro arôl tro. Yr unig ffordd y gallwn ni gael gwared ar hiliaeth yn gyfan gwbl ydy wynebu a herio’r digwyddiadau hyn. Nod y gweithgareddau yn yr adran hon ydy sicrhau fod gan y bobl ifanc yr adnoddau a’r hyder i wneud hynny.

Section 3:

Challenging Racism and Practising Self-Care

Unfortunately, both in the world of sport and in wider society, we see harmful racist incidents occurring time and time again. It is only by facing and challenging these that we can begin to eradicate racism. The activities in this section are designed to give young people the tools and confidence to do this.
