Welcome to Show Racism the Red Card, Southern Region. We’re a dedicated team committed to delivering anti-racism educational workshops across our region. Our goal is to foster understanding, promote equality, and combat racism in all its forms.

In 2023 alone, we had the privilege of educating over 24,500 young people across schools, colleges, universities, community groups, and football clubs throughout the Southern Region. These workshops serve as vital platforms for initiating crucial conversations and empowering individuals to become active agents of change in their communities.

Our workshops delve into a spectrum of topics, ensuring a holistic approach to anti-racism education. In addition to addressing unconscious bias, stereotyping, and language, we also tackle intersectionality, privilege, and allyship. Understanding how various aspects of identity intersect and acknowledging the inherent privileges some possess are fundamental steps in dismantling systemic racism.

We firmly believe in the power of allyship – the act of actively supporting and advocating for marginalized groups. Through our workshops, participants learn how to be effective allies and engage in meaningful actions to combat racism in their spheres of influence.
