SRtRC Scotland visits UNISON Black Members Conference

On Friday 20th January, UNISON Black Members group kindly invited Show Racism the Red Card Scotland along to attend the Unison Black Members Conference in Edinburgh.This was the first time the event has been held in person since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and it offered us an opportunity to meet and talk to committed union members and activists from across the UK.

SRtRC Scotland Visit Scottish Libraries

On Thursday 19th January, Show Racism the Red Card Scotland visited the Mitchell Library in Glasgow to deliver anti-racism workshops to Scottish librarians.

Newcastle Eagles Educational Event

The first event of the new year was one local to us in our North-East office. The campaign team paid a visit to the Vertu Motors Arena for the first educational event in our history with the Newcastle Eagles basketball team. It has been great working alongside the Newcastle Eagles Foundation, they are rooted in their local community and deliver vital work throughout the city.

Chris Kamara Receives MBE

Vaughan Gething Visits Hendrefoilan Primary School as part of Show Racism the Red Card’s – World Cup Partner Support Fund School Resources

Swansea, Wales (November 2022) – Through Welsh Governments FIFA World Cup 2022 – Partner Support Fund Show Racism the Red Card have created World Cup themed anti-racism educational resources for pupils to engage with in classrooms across Wales. The resources are accompanied with a teacher’s pack providing delivery notes and conversations to support teachers to provide high quality anti-racism education sharing the anti-racism message.
