Cyfle Hyfforddiant! Gweminar: Sgyrsiau Heriol – Trafod Mewnfudo mewn Ysgolion Training Opportunity! Webinar: Challenging Conversations – Discussing Immigration in Schools

Mae ysgolion yn chwarae rhan flaenllaw o ran helpu pobl ifanc i ddeall negeseuon cymhleth – a niweidiol ar brydiau – yn y gymdeithas.

Dyma pam fod Dangos y Cerdyn Coch i Hiliaethyn cynnal gweminar newydd:

Sgyrsiau Heriol: Trafod Mewnfudo mewn Ysgolion

📅 dydd Iau, Hydref y 9fed, 2025 15:45-16:30
💻 Ar-lein

Bydd y sesiwn yn cynnig cyfle ichi, ein hathrawon a staff yr ysgol i gyflwyno’ch cwestiynau gerbron ein panel arbenigol. Gyda’n gilydd, byddwn yn bwrw golwg ar sut i wneud y canlynol:

·       Cynnal trafodaethau dosbarth diogel, parchus ynghylch mewnfudo.

·       Herio gwybodaeth anghywir a naratifau niweidiol.

·       Cynnig y sgiliau meddwl yn feirniadol i ddisgyblion i allu gweld y gwir mewn ymgyrchoedd sydd â’r bwriad o wahanu pobl

Mae’r sesiwn yn arbennig ar gyfer addysgwyr sy’n awyddus i herio hiliaeth yn weithredol a grymuso disgyblion i sefyll dros gydraddoldeb a chynhwysiant.

Rydym o’r farn na ddylai cost fod yn rhwystr rhag gallu manteisio ar waith wrth-hiliaeth. Mae’r weminar yn rhad ac am ddim, ond os allwch chi, gofynnwn yn garedig ichi ystyried rhoi cyfraniad talu-beth-y-gallwch i gefnogi ein gwaith:

Schools are at the frontline when it comes to helping young people make sense of complex – and sometimes harmful – messages in society.

That’s why Show Racism the Red Card Wales is hosting a new webinar:

Challenging Conversations: Discussing Immigration in Schools
📅 Thursday 9th October, 2025 15:45-16:30
💻 Online

This session gives you, our teachers and school staff, the chance to put your questions to our expert panel. Together, we’ll explore how to:

  • Open up safe, respectful classroom discussions about immigration.

  • Challenge misinformation and harmful narratives.

  • Equip pupils with the critical thinking skills to see through divisive campaigns.

  •

The session is designed for educators who want to actively challenge racism and empower pupils to stand up for equality and inclusion.

We believe cost should never be a barrier to anti-racism work. The webinar is free to attend, but if you are able, please consider making a pay-what-you-can donation to support our work:
