Wear Red Day 2023. A roaring success of scale and support.

We’d like to start by extending our huge gratitude to everyone that registered and took part in Wear Red Day this year.

Thank you so much!

We were overwhelmed last year when 440,000 people registered to take part. This year, when 615,000 of you registered, to say that we were flabbergasted would be an understatement.

Monumental!

With over 350 businesses and 1,200 schools taking part, it was, by a very long stretch, the biggest celebration of the anti-racism movement that we’ve ever seen.

Magnificent!

Trending at number 2 on X / Twitter, we were the highest trending NFP in the UK for the whole of the 20th of October. That was a monumental achievement for us, and it was made possible by the sheer volume of celebratory images and messages of positivity from our amazing supporters nationwide.

Incredible!

Our three-year partnership with our great friends at the lastminute.com London Eye really took flight this year as we worked in close collaboration to produce a set of cross-branded, Wear Red Day- themed, educational resources for teachers to utilise with their students. Of course, The London Eye lit red for us again on the day, bathing the Thames and the Southbank in a majestic glow.

Spectacular!

London Heathrow, once again, proved to be a perfect partner with their extensive team all wearing red, lighting their terminals and allowing us to advertise our biggest day on their digital advertising boards.

Magic!

Everyone that joined us on and around Wear Red Day is, by extension, a part of our team. The size of our team is remarkable. With so many members, we are an unstoppable force. Think about what we can do together. Consider what we are able to achieve. United, we can change the landscape forever.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you one and all.

Change Hearts. Change Minds. Change Lives
