Venue for 2023 School Competition Awards Ceremony announced!

Show Racism the Red Card are delighted to announce that the venue for the 2023 School Competition Awards Ceremony will be ………….. Anfield!
Liverpool FC have always been fantastic supporters of our campaign and were inducted into the SRtRC Hall of Fame several years ago.
Holding the Awards Ceremony of the 2023 School Competition at such a prestigious stadium, full of history, will be a fitting reward for the hard work and endeavour of the students from schools all across England.
England Manager Gareth Southgate, has presented prizes at the Awards Ceremony in the past and said:
“This Awards Ceremony presents another opportunity to recognise and celebrate the tireless work of Show Racism the Red Card throughout schools across this country.
“Education is critical in the fight against discrimination and it’s great to see so many young people engaging in this Competition in such an enthusiastic manner. I would like to congratulate all entrants for producing such a high level of work across all categories.”
Show Racism the Red Card’s Deputy Chief Executive, Paul Kearns, said: “It is fantastic that Liverpool Football Club has agreed to host this year’s School Competition Awards Ceremony. We hope that the winning entries from this year’s anti-racism Competition will inspire people from across the UK and beyond.’
“The competition sees thousands of young people take part annually and it is such a hard job for the judges to pick the winners from so many great entries. This year there are some wonderfully original entries and we would like to thank all of the teachers for promoting the Competition in their schools.”
“The Awards Ceremony is always a highlight of the SRtRC Calendar and we are looking forward to working with our partners at Liverpool FC to make this year’s Awards bigger and better than ever.”
