Show Racism the Red Card are deeply saddened by the tragic death of Henry Nowak and our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those affected by this devastating loss.

We unequivocally condemn the violence and disorder that has followed. No tragedy should be used as an excuse to spread hatred, intimidate communities or fuel division.

We echo the words of Henry’s father, who has called for unity and respect rather than anger and division.

We stand against all forms of racism, hatred and extremism, while urging people to come together in solidarity rather than allow those who seek to exploit this tragedy to further divide our communities.

Our thoughts remain with Henry’s loved ones.
