SRtRC Scotland Anti-Racist Creative Competition 2025/2026
Show Racism the Red Card Scotland and The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) are proud to announce the return of our Anti-Racist Creative Competition 2025/2026. We are inviting young people from schools and colleges from across the nation to produce anti-racism themed art. These submissions can be in any form with digital art submissions being encouraged. Learners can submit posters (digital or hand drawn), poems (encouraged to send as audio file), short films, mini-series, tik toks, songs (including rap) or adverts.
This year’s Creative Competition Theme is: A World Without Racism- Imagine a world where racism doesn’t exist—a world where everyone is treated with fairness, kindness, and respect, no matter who they are or where they come from. What would that world look like, feel like, or sound like? How would people live, play, learn, and work together? Use your creativity to show us your vision of a world without racism.
We are delighted to be running the Creative Competition 2026 in partnership with SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority), an organisation who helps people fulfil their potential and maintains standards across Scottish education and has diversity and inclusivity embedded within their practices. Together, we have established a competition which is free for al Scottish schools and colleges.

The Show Racism the Red Card Anti Racism Creative Competition offers a powerful, positive way for your learners to respond. By taking part, pupils and students can explore the roots of prejudice, challenge harmful language, and express their vision for a fairer Scotland through art, writing, music, digital media, or performance. The competition celebrates creativity while giving young people a meaningful platform to share messages of unity, understanding, and hope.

Never has this work been so important. It gives children and young people across Scotland the chance to imagine a world without racism and to share that vision with creativity, courage and compassion. We will keep working together to build a fairer, kinder and more inclusive Scotland.
Once again, our spectacular awards ceremony is being hosted at Barclays Hampden, home of Scottish Football. We are deeply appreciative of the support from The Scottish Football Association in organising an awards ceremony worthy of the fantastic talent produced by the young people of Scotland and their support in offering exciting prizes that will be given to our winners.

And some of the winners of the Creative Competition will join Scotland’s Men’s and Women’s International Squads, as flag bearers in upcoming international fixtures.
