Our theme this year is: The Power of Our Voice
Billy Singh, Campaign Manager said
“Show Racism the Red Card’s Creative Competition for 2024/2025 aims to inspire young people across Scotland to use their creativity to design thought provoking work that raises awareness of racism and promotes an anti-racist message.
Over the years we have seen some truly inspirational work that always culminates with the judges facing difficult decisions on overall winners. We work with young people throughout the year through our educational workshops and events at football clubs and we never ceased to be amazed by their willingness to learn and want for a more caring and inclusive Scotland.”
John Booth, SQA Executive Sponsor for anti-racism in education added
“I’m proud that SQA is once again supporting Show Racism the Red Card’s Creative Competition. It gives learners the important opportunity to promote messages of anti-racism and express themselves artistically in a way that best represents them.”
The competition is free to enter and open to all young people regardless of age or ability. To find out more about the competition, download our entry pack below which features the rules, how to enter and a range of teaching tips to help facilitate discussions in the classroom about anti-racism.
