SRtRC Education Hub Launch Success!

Show Racism the Red Card’s new online education platform, The Education Hub, which was launched at the end of January this year, has already reached a staggering 5,600 registered users.

It had long been an ambition for our organisation to be able to provide all schools and educational spaces with the resources to facilitate these important discussions with their pupils and we are pleased to see such successes within this short period of time.

Supported in its first phase by Sainsbury’s, The Hub offers teachers easily-accessible, ready-to-use lessons and resources, to facilitate anti-racism discussions and learning in schools. Topics include anti-racism and Black History Month, with lessons launching soon for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month in June.

The Education Hub lessons include:

  • learning outcomes
  • facilitator session notes
  • pupil-facing slides
  • downloadable resources
  • useful videos
  • detailed curriculum links (England, Wales and Scotland)
  • additional resource suggestions and links
  • feedback opportunities.

Over 300 teachers have already left feedback from lessons that they have completed with pupils, 94% of which is positive. You can browse resources on The Hub by signing up for free at https://theredcardhub.org/.
