This exciting annual event offers schools nationwide a unique opportunity to inspire creativity, raise awareness, and promote anti-racism through powerful artistic expression.
The 2025 Creative Competition has a primary and secondary school category and is designed to align with the six areas of Learning and Experience within the Curriculum for Wales:
• Expressive Arts sponsored by Bridgend College
• Health and Well-being sponsored by the Fire Brigade union
• Humanities – sponsored by Transport for Wales
• Languages, Literacy and Communication
• Mathematics and Numeracy – sponsored by Principality
• Science and Technology – sponsored by Cardiff and the Vale College
This makes it an ideal cross-curricular project for learners of all ages, combining artistic expression with a deeper exploration of key social issues.
The Creative Competition Challenge Pack will be available bilingually in both Welsh and English. Schools are encouraged to submit their entries in the language of their choice, reflecting the rich bilingual culture of Wales.
