School Celebrates Club Support for Competition Winners

We are grateful to Newcastle United Football Club for providing £100 vouchers to their official store to our Overall School Competition winners – adding to the prizes that made this year’s competition in England so special.

The musical group from Croft Community School, BTD, won this year’s Overall Winner title in England’s School Competition. Show Racism the Red Card Competitions encourage young people from schools and other educational settings to produce creative work with an original anti-racism theme.

The Deputy Head Teacher shared what this meant for the winners from Croft:

“They were so grateful for all of the prizes and gifts they have received. I think their work with Show Racism the Red Card – winning the competition, the trip to Manchester and Newcastle United, and everything else they have worked on this year – will be a lasting memory for them, as it will be for us.”

We also thank all the clubs and organisations who contributed to this year’s competition prizes – your support helps us recognise students’ achievements, and we look forward to continuing these partnerships.
