Fire Brigades Union become Gold Champion supporters of Show Racism the Red Card
Show Racism the Red Card are proud to announce The Fire Brigades Union’s decision to become ‘Gold Champion’ supporters of our anti-racism campaign.
FBU Assistant General Secretary, Ben Selby said “The Fire Brigades Union has a long history of opposing racism, and we are excited to join forces with Show Racism the Red Card.
“Together we will promote working class unity and stand against all forms of discrimination.

Show Racism the Red Card, Chief Executive, Ged Grebby added “Show Racism the Red Card were established in January 1996 with the help of the Trade Union Movement in Tyne and Wear.
28 years later, we have the backing of most Trade Unions and a long track record of anti-racism education with them.
We are delighted that the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) have become Gold Champion supporters of Show Racism the Red Card.
We look forward to working closely with the FBU on anti-racism education in the Fire Service and hope to train a number of Firefighters to become Show Racism the Red Card Ambassadors.
At a time of growing racism in the UK, the Trade Union movement are our natural allies in the fight against racism.
“An injury to one is an injury to all” and we look forward to working more closely with all of the Trade Unions throughout the UK.
