Educational club event with Nottingham Forest FC

The World Cup week kicked off with our Campaign Team visiting the home of Nottingham Forest FC. Once we arrived at The City Ground we joined 60 young people in the Executive Suite in the heart of the iconic Brian Clough Stand.

Throughout the day the young people had been working with Nottingham Forest Community Trust on many activities centred around the starting of the World Cup. We joined the event in the afternoon to deliver our educational workshop which looks at what a world view is, how to spot and address racism, what a stereotype is and how to be an ally.

The young people were engaged and involved throughout the workshop. It was extremely encouraging to see young people so passionate and committed to anti-racism.

Thank you to everyone at the NFFC Community trust for inviting us down and putting on such a great event.
