Earlier this month, Show Racism the Red Card’s All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) met to hear from keynote speakers including the outgoing and incoming general secretaries of the National Education Union (NEU) in Kevin Courtney and Daniel Kebede respectively, who spoke on the need for anti-racism on the national curriculum.

Show Racism the Red Card Wales is delighted to announce our Windrush-themed education pack, “Windrush Then and Now”, containing anti-racism resources and activities for pupils.

Newcastle United’s collaboration with the “Show Racism the Red Card” campaign proved to be a powerful platform for promoting anti-racism and hate crime training for young people.

Show Racism the Red Card held several educational events at various Football clubs in March, April and May. Here’s a brief round-up of the events.

The Frensham Heights School in Farnham recently hosted a powerful anti-racism workshop for Year 9 and 10 students.

Show Racism the Red Card were presented the findings of a research project undertaken by final year Politics students at the Newcastle University Community Based Research in Politics Annual Conference.

Once again we are astonished at the thought, time and effort our entrants have put in to their entries and are proud to announce our list of chosen winners for the School Competition of 2023; the order of which will be announced at our Awards Ceremony at Liverpool FC’s Anfield Stadium.

Show Racism the Red Card Wales celebrate the winners of this years Creative Competition at a special awards ceremony attended by the prize winners, parents, teachers and special guests!

Show Racism the Red Card’s new online education platform, The Education Hub, which was launched at the end of January this year, has already reached a staggering 5,600 registered users.

Staff and students at Bristol Brunel Academy showed racism the red card at a whole school event. Staff and students were encouraged to wear something red in support of this initiative and raise funds for SRtRC!

On March 30th, 2023, an anti-racism educational event was delivered by Show Racism The Red Card in partnership with Arsenal in the community at The Emirates stadium, home of Arsenal football club.
