NUFC host a SRtRC educational club event.

Newcastle United’s collaboration with the “Show Racism the Red Card” campaign proved to be a powerful platform for promoting anti-racism and hate crime training for young people. The event, held at the club’s prestigious St James’s Park, encompassed a full day of activities aimed at raising awareness and fostering inclusivity. The young people attended joined us from Walkgergate, Our Lady St Anne’s and Atkinson Road Primary School.

3 day Educational club events with Bolton Wanderers Football Club

Show Racism the Red Card teamed up for the second year in a row with Bolton Wanderers FC and Bolton Wanderers in the Community for 3 days of educational events reaching nearly 500 young people from across Bolton.

Show Racism the Red Card are are honoured to have been the official charity partner of the Visionary Arts Social Impact Awards 2023! Congratulations to all of the winners, and all of those nominated for incredible work and influence for positive change on a wide range of social justice.

School Competition Launch | England

Last week, SRtRC supporters gathered to launch our annual School Competition at the UNISON Headquarters. The event was attended by sponsors and supporters of the Competition with speakers including Kevin Courtney (NEU General Secretary), Sola Kasali (EA SPORTS), Simone Pound (PFA), Paul Elliott (Former Footballer) & hosted by Margret Greer (UNISON).

Sunderland AFC Educational Event

Another local event for the Northeast campaign team as they made the short trip to the Beacon of Light to hold an educational event in partnerships with Sunderland AFC and the Foundation of Light. Newcastle Eagles Educational Event

The first event of the new year was one local to us in our North-East office. The campaign team paid a visit to the Vertu Motors Arena for the first educational event in our history with the Newcastle Eagles basketball team. It has been great working alongside the Newcastle Eagles Foundation, they are rooted in their local community and deliver vital work throughout the city.
