Admin & Support Worker vacancy – Scotland (Part-Time)
Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity.
The aim of the organisation is to combat racism through delivering anti-racism education.
We are seeking to recruit an Admin & Support Worker to join our Scottish Team – based in Glasgow.
This is a part-time position (21 hours per week) and is for a fixed term for a period of up to 12 months, with a view to making the contract permanent if funding can be secured
We offer a flexible working hours policy and some remote/hybrid working.

NJC Pay Scale 3 – Points 5 – 6: £26,427 – £26,847 (pro-rata)
6% pension
Primarily, the role involves acting as a point of contact for general public enquiries and providing effective administrative support for Show Racism the Red Card Scotland.
The role involves coordinating the booking and organisation of educational workshops and liaising with the Finance Team to arrange invoicing.
The post holder will also attend events to support other staff, assist in maintaining the campaign’s social media presence and managing contact with key partners and stakeholders.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Clear commitment to anti-racism
- Administrative experience, preferably in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, written, telephone and interpersonal
- A high level of motivation, ability to work with minimum supervision but still capable of working as an effective team member
- Excellent organisational and planning skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Experience of spreadsheets and database management
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes
- Experience of using mainstream social media channels and managing content dissemination to the general public
- Ability to meet specific deadlines under pressure
- Ability to arrange management meetings and take meeting minutes
- Ability to use contemporary IT, including Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Zoom and Microsoft Teams
