2026 marks the 30th year of Show Racism the Red Card – the UK’s leading anti-racism education charity.
Reaching over 1.4 million young people with SRtRC’s anti-racism workshops, we are in awe of all the support we have received over the years. Anti-racism education is needed now more than ever and reaching our 30th year only makes us more determined to keep spreading the important message of anti-racism.
As our co-founder, Shaka Hislop says himself:
“It might take another 100 years to dismantle racism but we’ll get there”

Although we are proud to have reached this milestone, there is still a long way to go. The Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 and the UK race riots that we faced in 2024 were recent examples that hate and misinformation is a necessary issue to address.
Nelson Mandela’s words “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” have been the ethos for us and we know it will hold value for generations to come.
