Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) is currently collaborating with the Centre for Race, Education and Decoloniality (CRED), to deliver a bespoke Initial Teacher Education (ITE) anti-racism programme for pre-service trainee teachers at the Carnegie School of Education at Leeds Beckett University.
This year, the SRtRC Wales team ran our first pilot of a young anti-racist ambassador’s project targeted at primary school pupils. The trial followed the very successful Leaders of Now Ambassadors project that has been undertaken for the last 3 years in North Wales with secondary students.
On Monday the 20th January 2025, young minds across the UK will have the chance to engage in a powerful educational experience, as Ian Bland Poetry for Primary School Children hosts an Anti-Racism Online Zoom Workshop in collaboration with Show Racism The Red Card.
On Wednesday, 4th December, Wells Hall Primary School hosted our Fans of the Future – Anti-Racism Programme for Primary Schools for all of their pupils based in Year 4 through to Year 6.
