Where did November go?  I ble aeth Tachwedd?

December 04, 2018 by Rosa Brown in Wales

November has flown by for Team Wales; let’s take a look back at what we’ve been up to this month:

This month we have delivered in:

34 primary schools

4 secondary schools

3 football clubs

3 rugby clubs

working with a  total of 2819 young people.

Team Wales also delivered twilight sessions across three different schools as well as delivering training to staff from the Football Association of Wales (FAW).

Over the course of November we’ve had the opportunity to revisit previous projects as well as make exciting headway on some new ones. We were delighted to be involved with Youth Cymru’s Unconference, which gave us the opportunity to share our activities and resources from the ‘Together We Rise’ Project. Meanwhile our man in the north, Eryl, delivered training to Flintshire secondary school ambassadors, in partnership with Flintshire Council.

We even found the time to squeeze in some training for ourselves this month! Leila from Displaced People in Action (DPIA) visited our offices to shed light onto the asylum process in Wales. Rosa from our team also travelled up to the idyllic Nant Gwrtheyrn to practise her Welsh, as part of the Welsh Government’s Cymraeg Gwaith Scheme.

We are excited to announce that this month Wales hit the £10,000 mark for recorded donations from Wear Red Day. Thank you to all the schools and organisations who have been involved this year. Your donations help us to continue to work with more and more young people each year.

However, the count is not over yet. Please email wales@theredcard.org for further information about how you can still pay in those donations and help make Wear Red Day 2018 bigger and better than ever!

Mae mis Tachwedd wedi hedfan heibio i dîm Cymru; edrychwn yn ôl ar be buom yn ei wneud:

Mis yma, rydym wedi cynnal gweithdai mewn:

 34 ysgol gynradd

 4 ysgol uwchradd

 3 clwb pel-droed

 3 clwb rygbi

Yn gweithio gyda chyfanswm o 2819 bobl ifanc.

Bu Tîm Cymru hefyd yn darparu sesiynnau ‘twilight’ mewn 3 ysgol wahanol yn ogystal â hyfforddi staff Cymdeithas Bêl-Droed Cymru.

Yn ystod Tachwedd cawsom y cyfle i ail-ymweld â phrosiectau blaenorol yn ogystal â gwneud cynydd cyffroes ar rai newydd. Roedd yn bleser bod yn ran o gynhadledd Unconference Youth Cymru; rhoddodd hyn y cyfle i ni rannu rhai gweithgareddau ac adnoddau o’n prosiect ‘Gyda’n Gilydd – Fe Godwn’. Yn y cyfamser bu ein gweithiwr gogledd Cymru, Eryl, yn darparu hyfforddiant i lysgenhadon ysgolion uwchradd Sir y Fflint.

Wnaethom hyd yn oed lwyddo i wasgu ychydig hyfforddiant i ni ein hunain mis yma! Ymwelodd Leilia o Displaced People in Action (DPIA) â’n swyddfa i sôn am y broses ceisio lloches yng Nghymru. Hefyd, teithiodd Rosa o’n tîm i Nant Gwrtheyrn i wella’i Chymraeg, fel rhan o gynllun Cymraeg Gwaith Llywodraeth Cymru.

Rydym yn falch iawn i gyhoeddi i ni daro’r marc £10,000 ar gyfer rhoddion Diwrnod Gwisgo Coch! Diolch yn fawr i’r holl ysgolion a mudiadau sydd wedi bod yn ran o’r ymgyrch eleni. Mae’ch rhoddion yn ein cynorthwyo i barhau i weithio gyda rhagor o bobl ifanc bob blwyddyn.

Ond, tydi’r cyfri ddim wedi do di ben eto! Os gwelwch yn dda, ebostiwch wales@theredcard.org am wybodaeth bellach ynglŷn â sut medrwch gyfrannu i wneud Diwrnod Gwisgo Coch 2018 yn fwy llwyddiannus fyth!
