Overview of educational work delivered by SRtRC Education teams
The North-East and South-East Education teams have been delivering educational workshops throughout England during January.
Throughout the month of January the Show Racism the Red Card (England) Education teams worked to collectively deliver practical and imaginative workshops and events across England:
196 hours of workshop activities, excluding assemblies and fun fitness sessions
3,140 pupils participated
19 Primary Schools
9 First or Secondary Schools
In the North East, the Education team delivered 69 workshops, 84 hours to a total of 1144 school students, across the region in 12 Primary schools, 1 First School, 2 Secondary schools and 2 colleges.
In the Southern region, the Education team delivered 114 workshops, over 112 hours to a total 1996 students, across the south region in 7 Primary schools and 6 Secondary schools.
In addition, the Southern team delivered a workshop in partnership with the New Generation Development Agency (NGDA), for the PCC Conference. The NGDA develop and deliver specialist community projects that help families, communities or service providers tackle social issues.
