Individuals in Essex grassroots football have until 30.9.15 to complete an online survey to help them look at LGBT issues in the game
Show Racism the Red Card is happy to support Essex FA in tackling all forms of discrimination in the game, at grassroots and beyond.

Individuals in Essex grassroots football have until Wednesday 30th September to complete an online survey via www.essexfa.com which aims to identify the barriers and football from Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) participants, plus the most effective ways to address them.
The anonymous survey forms part of the Essex County FA’s ongoing efforts to make football accessible to all, and the cooperation of players, clubs, referees, coaches, administrators and volunteers is sought. It doesn’t ask for any personal details so nobody will be able to attribute answers to an individual. The survey will take approximately ten minutes to complete and respondents must be aged 16 or over to participate.
Show Racism the Red Card asks all appropriate people to participate in this important work and take 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Gathering information in this way can help ensure everyone in grassroots football is treated fairly, while it also tries to identify how to engage with LGB&T participants more effectively in order to drive a long term strategy to increase LGB&T football involvement across Essex.
