Schools, businesses and other organisations across Scotland encouraged to wear red to promote messages of unity, solidarity & anti-racism
I encourage all to get involved in ‘This is my Home’ to help promote a positive portrayal of migrants and tackle racism head on.

Show Racism the Red Card Scotland is encouraging campaign supporters to wear red to commemorate a day of action across England, Scotland and Wales.
It is hoped that on Friday the 23rd of October, young people and adults alike will arrive at school or work in red to demonstrate their stance against racism and to raise funds to support the delivery of anti-racism education nationwide.
The date coincides with activities and celebrations to mark Black History Month 2015 and also falls within our annual ‘Fortnight of Action’ in Scotland, England and Wales.
The theme of this years ‘Fortnight of Action’ is ‘This Is my Home’ which promotes a positive narrative about immigration. ‘
'This is my Home’ is a series of seven short documentary films from SRtRC exploring the issues of immigration and racism from the point of view of Scotland’s migrant community.
You can watch the films here: http://www.theredcard.org/thisismyhome
Those interested in taking part should contact SRtRC Scotland on 0141 222 2058 or via email@example.com to receive a fundraising pack including 30 SRtRC Red Cards, 100 SRtRC stickers and further information about how to get involved.
You can send your photographs and messages to SRtRC via Facebook and Twitter using the hashtags #SRtRCWearRed #thisismyhome and the campaign will help to promote your show of solidarity and publicise your efforts.
Each person taking part is being asked to donate £1 to SRtRC which will go directly toward increasing the volume of anti-racism educational interventions delivered to young people and adults across the UK via their schools and places of work.
At a time when a wide range of social injustices continue to divide communities, SRtRC hope you will join us in promoting a strong anti-racism message and celebrating unity, togetherness and solidarity.
Thank you for your continued support Scotland!
