Overview of educational work delivered by SRtRC Education teams in February
The North-East and South-East Education teams have been delivering thought-provoking and creative educational workshops throughout England during February.
Throughout the month of February the Show Racism the Red Card (England) Education teams worked to collectively deliver workshops and events across England:
182 hours of workshop activities, excluding assemblies and fun fitness sessions
2,932 pupils participated
23 Primary Schools
6 Secondary Schools
In the North East, the Education team delivered 49 workshops, over 85 hours to a total of 1,119 school students, across the region in 15 Primary schools.
In the Southern region, the Education team delivered 64 workshops, over 97 hours to a total 1813 students, across the south region in 8 Primary schools and 6 Secondary schools.
In addition, the North East team attended a Council Chamber event and an anti-racism conference. They also held a Holocaust Memorial Day with 69 students from Berwick Academy.
