Throughout the month of January the Show Racism the Red Card (England) Education teams worked to collectively deliver practical and imaginative workshops and events across England:
156 hours of workshop activities, excluding assemblies and fun fitness sessions
2,258 pupils participated
23 Primary Schools
3 Secondary Schools
In the North East, the Education team delivered 38 workshops, over 63 hours to a total of 908 school students, across the region in 13 Primary schools.
The North-East team also attended a Holocaust Memorial event and an intense full day Initial Teacher Training (ITT) at Northumbria University.
In the Southern region, the Education team delivered 50 workshops, over 93 hours to a total 1350 students, across the south region in 10 Primary schools and 3 Secondary schools.
In addition, the Southern team continues to deliver Hate Crime workshops which are funded by the PCC, most recently to the Basildon Academies in Basildon and Unity Primary Academy in Colchester.
