Llay Utd YFC have shown their anti-racism stance by decorating their changing rooms
Llay United YFC have shown their support for Show Racism the RED Card through a project that saw young players take part in decorating their changing rooms creating a Show Racism the RED Card message across the unit.
Llay United YFC was formed back in 1980 to give children from Llay and the surrounding villages a chance to play competitive football against other local clubs.
The club achieved the FAW Community Club of the Year in 2011 and over the last ten years the club has become one of the fastest grown football clubs in Wales.
The club currently has over 220 members with 17 teams from under 7's to under 16's who play in the Wrexham and District Youth League, as well as an under 11's and under 12's girls team who play in the Wrexham Girl league.
They are currently one of a handful of clubs in North Wales to be a FAW Silver Accredited club, in recognition of the clubs organisation and commitment to youth football
We would like to congratulate the club on their achievements and for showing their stance against racism in sport and society.
