New film from 'afreelancehuman' focuses on Anwar and his work with the campaign
Show Racism the Red Card Honorary Patron and former professional footballer Anwar Uddin, is the subject of a new short film by independent film maker ‘afreelancehuman’.
Anwar was the first one of the first British Asian professional footballers, playing in all four top divisions in England.
On retiring from the game he worked for SRtRC delivering education work in schools and at events at football clubs, including the event at Dagenham & Redbridge FC featured in the film.

Anwar talks about why he felt that he should be involved in work educating young people about racism and discrimination.
Anwar is now Diversity and Campaigns Manager at the Football Supporters Federation and still very much involved in the SRtRC campaign and work with the PFA and Kick It Out.
