See the work of young people for the All Ages and Abilities Multi-Media Category
Show Racism the Red Card has added the top two films from this year's All Ages and Abilities Multi Media Category to our YouTube Channel.
You can now view the entry from Heymann Primary School, Nottinghamshire which claimed first prize in the Multi-Media Category and was awarded the Overall Winner 2014 title.
Heymann's entry was based on Benjamin Zephaniah's poem 'The British'. Benjamin left the following comment about the film,
“Wow. This is very cool. I could go on tour with these kids. You are the future. Well done to all of you. Your parents, your teachers, Nottinghamshire and your Country is proud of you. Peace.”
In second place in the Multi-Media category is an entry produced by Narjes Halbous, Connor Hugill and Morgan O'Driscoll of Whinney Banks Primary School, Middlesbrough. This excellent piece can be seen here.
Entrants in the SRtRC School Competition 2014 produced entries in a wide variety of formats including music, film, artwork and creative writing. All winners were invited to a special Awards Ceremony at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester on Tuesday 6th May.
The SRtRC School Competition 2015 will launch in September of this year, stay tuned for details!
