Rugby league side the North Wales Crusaders to show support for Show Racism the RED Card
North Wales rugby League team, the North Wales Crusaders have established a partnership with our Welsh office and become the latest sports team to support the campaign.
The Crusaders are a professional rugby league club based in Wrexham. They are the successors to the former Super League club Celtic Crusaders who moved to North Wales from South Wales.
As the Celtic Crusaders the club supported the campaign by warming up in our T-shirts prior to a Sky Sports live match while they were in the Super League
The North Wales Crusaders will be again supporting the campaign by warming up in our T-shirts prior to a game in July against Dewsbury at the Race Course Stadium.
Campaign worker Jason Webber said: “It is fantastic to have the support from the Crusaders as we continue to branch out into other sports in Wales. To have a rugby league team supporting our key messages in Wales is another step forward in our aim to have more of a variety of sports invovled with the campaign. They will join the rugby union clubs and Glamorgan Cricket in supporting SRtRC.”
We are working with the club to hold one of our club events with young people at the stadium over the coming year.
