SRtRC School Competition 2014 (England) - Winners Announced
Independent panel of judges selects this year’s winners
Earlier this week, (Wednesday 26th March) a panel of judges met at SRtRC’s North Tyneside Headquarters to select the winners of the 2014 School Competition.
Anti-racism themed artwork, creative writing, film and music entries were submitted by young people from a wide range of ages and abilities; having worked with SRtRC educational resources in a classroom setting.
The judges had a tough task in making their selections as the standard or work was of a very high standard. Winning entries were selected for the strength of their anti-racism message, their design and originality.
All of the young people who created winning entries will be invited to an awards ceremony at the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City FC on May 6th, where they will be presented with their prizes by a host of special guests.
SRtRC will be in touch with all of the schools and winners about the awards ceremony very soon.
