"They have to take action," says Chief Executive
Speaking to The Independent newspaper at the weekend, Show Racism The Red Card chief executive Geb Grebby said UEFA must do more in the Milan case.
In a recent mid-season friendly between AC Milan and lower divison side Pro Patria, AC Milan's Kevin Prince Boateng walked off the pitch after receiving racist abuse from a section of the home supporters.
However, as the match was not in a UEFA competition the European football body has not intervened in the case.
"UEFA have to take action," Ged told the Indepedent. "They have been caught out, particularly over the Serbian incident.
"They are the leading body in football and they are not taking a lead in the action. You can do the fantastic billboards around the grounds, with 'Say no to racism,' but once something like this happens, they have to take action."
