Newest patrons praise "hard work" of Show Racism the Red Card.
Two current professional footballers are the latest to back the Show Racism the Red Card campaign and become patrons.
Steve Kabba, currently playing for Barnet in Football League 2, and Craig Mackail-Smith who represents Brighton & Hove Albion FC in the Championship have both agreed to become patrons.
Craig said this week: “I think the work Show Racism the Red Card does is not only fantastic but integral for our society to keep moving in the right direction.
“We have come along way over the years and its so important we continue in that direction."
Mackail-Smith made almost 200 hundreds for Peterborough United between 2007 and 2011 before moving onto Brighton, where he has made more than 50 appearances, scoring 18 goals.
Steve Kabba told us: “Racism is a problem in society, but we can start to change people's views with our hard work and wisdom.”
Currently playing for Barnet, Steve is best known for making more than 170 appearances for Sheffield United which included many run-outs in the English Premier League.
