Welsh Education manager, Simon Richards, was invited into the studios of Radio Wales on Monday to talk about the teams’ nomination for a Lottery Award as well as racism at the Euro Championships. It’s the third time in 6 months that someone from the Welsh team have been invited onto the programme.
Appearing on the Jamie and Louise Morning Show for 20 minutes, the former teacher fielded questions about the level of fines handed out by Euefa to the various footballing associations as well as discussing the charities work in schools and colleges across Wales.
The presenters of the show, which regularly boasts more than 300,000 listeners, then asked their audience to vote for the charity and gave out the awards page website.
