Former England Manager shows support for SRtRC

Sven Goran Eriksson is the latest Manager to become a patron of Show Racism the Red Card.


Sven Goran Eriksson, Manager of Leicester City FC has joined the list of Managers and players supporting the Show Racism the Red Card campaign.

Sven has enjoyed a glittering career within the professional game, winning 17 major trophies along the way including becoming the only Manager to win league and cup doubles in three different countries. He has managed at the highest level of the game, including some of Europe's major clubs and has managed the international teams of England, Mexico and Ivory Coast.

Leicester City have supported the campaign for a number of years now. Each year the club produce team posters for free distribution with the campaign and they have also hosted educational events for local school pupils with SRtRC.

Show Racism the Red Card are absolutely delighted to welcome Sven to our growing list of honorary patrons and we look forward to working with him and Leicester City over the course of the 2011/12 season.
