Our Welsh Campaign held their first ever event at Haverfordwest County AFC (Photo right - pupils hold up thier art work on the Bluebirds pitch)
This was our first event at the club and was a great opportunity for some of the pupils to discuss racism for the first time

This event was the 16th all day event of the season an all-time high for the Welsh team that saw them visit the west Wales club “the Bluebirds”.
Pupils from Prendergast CP School attend the Bridge Meadow stadium for the whole day and took part in anti racism workshop activities delivered by SRtRC Education team Simon Richards and Christian Roberts.
Christian held a dual role on the day as he currently plays for the Bluebirds team as well as education the pupils for SRtRC.
Pupils had a ground tour during their lunch prior to watching the Campaign DVD at the club and holding discussions in groups about the DVD and the key messages they had learnt during the morning session.
For the first time our Welsh campaign piloted a poster making session during the event where pupils had the opportunity to make an anti racism poster highlighting the messages and lessons they had learnt during the day.
The best poster produced was chosen by the club and will have the opportunity to be a club mascot for one of the last games of the season.
Each pupil received a match ticket voucher for an up and coming game.
We would like to thank the school for attending and the club for arranging the event.
