Alan Pardew becomes our latest Patron

Show Racism the Red Card are delighted that Newcastle United's new manager agreed to be a patron of our campaign

When Show Racism the Red Card contacted Alan to invite him to become a patron, he responded saying:

"I am delighted to follow in the footsteps of a number of previous managers at Newcastle United and become a patron of Show Racism the Red Card.  The campaign is highly regarded in football throughout the UK and it is a tribute to the great work that the charity does that so many great names in football are patrons of the charity".

We are grateful for the support of all of our patrons for their role in inspiring and educating young people against racism.  Pardew joins a host of current and former professional footballers and managers including Wigan Athletic's Roberto Martinez; Cesc Fabregas, Sol Campbell, Giles Barnes and Clarke Carlisle.

We look forward to working with Alan Pardew and developing the successful partnership between Show Racism the Red Card and Newcastle United.
