Porthmadog FC in the Welsh Premier League (WPL) held a Show Racism the Red Card Day when they played Bala Town at Y Traeth, Porthmadog.
Porthmadog Football Club was founded in 1884, which makes them one of Wales' oldest clubs. The Stance of Action was held by the club who organised the day after purchasing resources from SRtRC.
Secretary, Gerallt Owen said, “The club felt, as they were away at Haverfordwest for the official day in October (FOA) that they should show their support for this important initiative by holding a similar day at the Traeth.”
The players wore the special Show Racism the Red card T-shirts during the pre-match warm-up and there were brochures and leaflets available in the Clubhouse and Club Shop.
Show Racism the RED Card is going to continue their work with the WPL clubs and Porthmadog FC over the season.
