We’re delighted to announce that Show Racism the Red Card, in partnership with the COSARAF Charitable Foundation, will once again host the Community Iftar 2026, taking place throughout Ramadan.
Building on the success of last year’s interfaith iftars, which brought together more than 650 people across South Wales this year’s programme continues our mission of fostering unity, understanding, and shared community values.
For 2026, we are proud to be working with Swansea City AFC, Cardiff City FC, Newport County AFC and The Dragons, each hosting an interfaith Community Iftar event at their ground. These clubs play a crucial role in opening their doors to the community, creating warm and welcoming spaces where families can come together, build connections, and celebrate the richness of cultural and faith diversity.
This year’s theme is family and youth, with a special emphasis on encouraging more young people from local communities to take part. Alongside the shared experience of breaking fast, each event will include meaningful opportunities for young voices to shine.
If you would like to book a place at one of our Community Iftar events, please visit the link below. We encourage early registration, as places will be limited and demand is expected to be high.
By placing families and young people at the heart of the Community Iftar 2026, we aim to inspire the next generation to champion empathy, inclusion, and mutual respect, helping to build communities where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and heard.
