SRtRC launches free Windrush educational resources

Show Racism the Red Card Wales is delighted to announce our Windrush-themed education pack, “Windrush Then and Now”, containing anti-racism resources and activities for pupils. These resources have been designed to link messages of anti-racism and the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the HMT Empire Windrush arriving in Britain. The activities within the pack are aligned to the new Curriculum for Wales and can be used within their lessons in the lead up to, during and after Windrush Day on 22nd June 2023.

NUFC host a SRtRC educational club event.

Newcastle United’s collaboration with the “Show Racism the Red Card” campaign proved to be a powerful platform for promoting anti-racism and hate crime training for young people. The event, held at the club’s prestigious St James’s Park, encompassed a full day of activities aimed at raising awareness and fostering inclusivity. The young people attended joined us from Walkgergate, Our Lady St Anne’s and Atkinson Road Primary School.

The Frensham Heights School in Farnham recently hosted a powerful anti-racism workshop for Year 9 and 10 students.
