CROESO | WELCOME
Wrth inni baratoi i ddathlu’r Chwe Gwlad, fe gawn ni ein hatgoffa o rym aruthrol chwaraeon i ddwyn pobl ynghyd ar draws ffiniau, diwylliannau a chymunedau. Mae Rygbi yn fwy na gêm yn unig – mae’n angerdd a rennir sy’n ein dwyn at ein gilydd. Fodd bynnag, wrth inni fwrw iddi i ddathlu sgil ac ysbryd y chwaraeon, mae’n bwysig hefyd ein bod yn cydnabod yr heriau sy’n bodoli ynddo ac yn y gymdeithas ehangach, gan gynnwys hiliaeth.
Mae Dangos y Cerdyn Coch i Hiliaeth o’r farn bod addysg yn allweddol i greu newid parhaol. Mae’r pecyn hwn wedi’i ddylunio i helpu ysgolion, clybiau a chymunedau i ddefnyddio rygbi fel man cychwyn ar gyfer sgyrsiau hanfodol am degwch, parch a chynhwysiant. Drwy ymwneud â’r themâu hyn drwy weithgareddau difyr, gallwn rymuso pobl ifanc i fod yn gynghreiriaid, herio rhagfarn a meithrin amgylcheddau lle mae pawb yn teimlo’n gartrefol a’u bod yn perthyn yno.
Mae twrnamaint y Chwe Gwlad yn adeg llawn balchder a chyffro, ond mae hefyd yn gyfle i fyfyrio ar y gwerthoedd sy’n gofalu bod rygbi – ac ein cymunedau – yn gryf ac yn gadarn: parch, gwaith tîm a chydraddoldeb. Gyda’n gilydd, gallwn sicrhau nad geiriau gwag ydy’r gwerthoedd hyn yn unig, ond eu bod yn cael eu rhoi ar waith i lywio dyfodol ein chwaraeon a’n Cymdeithas.
Diolch am ymuno gyda ni i gyflawni’r gwaith hollbwysig hwn. Dewch inni sicrhau bod gemau’r Chwe Gwlad hwn yn ddathliad o undeb ac yn wrthwynebiad i hiliaeth.

As we prepare to celebrate the Six Nations, we are reminded of the incredible power of sport to unite people across borders, cultures, and communities. Rugby is more than a game—it’s a shared passion that brings us together. But while we celebrate the skill and spirit of the sport, we must also acknowledge the challenges that exist within it and in wider society, including racism.
Show Racism the Red Card believes that education is key to creating lasting change. This pack has been designed to help schools, clubs, and communities use rugby as a starting point for vital conversations about fairness, respect, and inclusion. By exploring these themes through engaging activities, we can empower young people to become allies, challenge prejudice, and build environments where everyone feels they belong.
The Six Nations is a time of pride and excitement, but it’s also an opportunity to reflect on the values that make rugby—and our communities—strong: respect, teamwork, and equality. Together, we can ensure that these values are not just words, but actions that shape the future of our sport and society.
Thank you for joining us in this important work. Let’s make this Six Nations a celebration of unity and a stand against racism.

Gallai rygbi ddwyn pobl ynghyd, ond gallai hefyd amlygu problemau cymdeithasol ehangach, gan gynnwys hiliaeth. Mae’r pecyn hwn yn defnyddio rygbi fel man cychwyn i fwrw golwg ar degwch, cynhwysiant, amrywiaeth a chynghreiriaeth.

Rydym wedi dylunio’r gweithgareddau yn y pecyn hwn gan ddefnyddio model ‘cam yn hytrach nac oedran’ yn unol â’r Camau Cynnydd yn y Cwricwlwm i Gymru. Gwiriwch frig y dudalen weithgaredd i weld y Cam Cynnydd a’r Maes Dysgu a Phrofiad mae’n ymdrin â nhw. Gallwch gyflawni’r gweithgareddau mewn unrhyw drefn, naill ai ar eu pen eu hunain neu gyda’i gilydd fel rhan o gynllun gwaith mwy.
The Six Nations Championship unites players and fans from Wales, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, and Italy in celebration of skill, passion, and national pride. Rugby can bring people together, but it can also reflect wider societal issues, including racism. This pack uses rugby as a starting point to explore fairness, inclusion, diversity, and allyship.
The Men’s Six Nations Championship will kick off on Thursday, 5 February 2026, and will conclude with a Super Saturday of matches on Saturday, 14 March 2026. The 2026 Women’s Six Nations Championship will take place from April 11 to May 17, featuring a new format and exciting fixtures between the top teams in Europe. However, we hope this pack can be used far beyond the 2026 championships.
We have designed the activities in this pack using a ‘stage not age’ model in line with the Progression Steps in the Curriculum for Wales. Simply check the top of the activity for the Progression Step and Area of Learning and Experience (AoLE) it covers. Activities can be used in any order, either in isolation or together as part of a larger scheme of work.
