National Anti-Discrimination Workshop - West Wales FA

As part of the Challenging Racism in football project Show Racism the Red Card we delivered workshops for junior clubs across West Wales held at Carmarthen Town AFC and Llanelli Town AFC.

The Challenging Racism in Football project is a collaborative project between SRtRC and FA Wales.

The project aims to increase the awareness of racism throughout all levels of football in Wales. It will provide support and resources to educate the football family on how to challenge racism and report any incident of discrimination both on and off the field.

The National Anti-discrimination workshops provide an opportunity for clubs to develop their understanding of racism and discuss issues that are prevalent in football at all levels so that clubs are well equipped to take positive action.

The workshop is practical and engaging and provides further support for clubs to promote equality and challenge discrimination to create an inclusive environment for all.

We would like to thank the West Wales FA for their support in arranging the event and FA Wales for funding our Challenging Racism in Football project and for their ongoing support for the campaign in Wales.
