We visited the University of Wales Trinity Saint David campus in Swansea to deliver two days of teacher training with student teachers.
'The teachers of tomorrow' took part in a range of workshops that provided support on delivering anti-racism education in the classroom, guidance on the language of equality and advice on how to respond to and report a racist incident in school.
In addition to our workshops Stuart Williams from the NEU delivered a number of workshops supporting students through the interview and induction process for teachers along with advice on social media guidelines.
Students were provided a range of SRtRC resources and education packs to use in the classroom as part of a whole school approach.
We would like to thank the NEU for their support for this project that has enabled us to deliver to hundreds of student teachers in Wales.
