National Education Union host premiere of the new SRtRC educational film

On Wednesday 24th October 2018, The national Education Union (NEU) will host the premiere of the new Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) educational film. Guests will arrive at the NEU headquarters in London for 6pm where they will then have chance to listen to an array of speakers. The speakers at the event will include Ros McNeil (Head of Education and Equality, NEU), Tim Roache (General Secretary, GMB), and Juliet Ryan. Juliet features on the new educational film where she shares her experience of finding out her son had suffered racist abuse at school from his peers. England manager, Gareth Southgate, is featured on the new Show Racism the Red Card educational film

Show Racism the Red Card Chief Executive, Ged Grebby, said;

“The brand new, Show Racism the Red Card educational film aims to provide an introduction to the topic of racism for young people. The film, which will be shown in school across England, Scotland and Wales, features Gareth Southgate, Dele Alli, Gemma Bonner, Eni Aluko and other role-models from both society, and football, talking about their experiences of racism.”
