Online Reporting hub for football launched in Wales

We have launched an online reporting hub for Wales for anyone that has been a victim or has witnessed racism in football.

The reporting hub is a collaborative project with the Football Association of Wales, supported by all the regional Area Associations and leagues to challenge racism in football at all levels.

Throughout this season our team in Wales have been delivering educational workshops to grassroots clubs involving coaches, players and club officials as part of a new project funded by the Football Association of Wales. (Find out more here)

Incidents of racism in football are still under reported and the aim of the online hub is to provide a platform for anyone to come forward and report incidents across all levels of football in Wales to ensure that all incidents are fully investigated by the relevant authorities.

We want to build a better picture of the experiences of racism in football across Wales to help in the development of our training programs and will also be carrying out a grassroots study during this year.

Show Racism the Red Card cannot impose any sanctions, as this will be the decision of the relevant authorities. However we will support any clubs and individuals that have been a victim of racial abuse within football in Wales and are in discussions with FA Wales so that mandatory education for those found guilty of racist actions is a core part of any outcome.
