Urdd Eisteddfod 2017

We joined the National Union of Teachers at their stall to provide young people attending the 2017 Urdd Eisteddfod with our team posters and new magazines.

The Urdd National Eisteddfod is an annual Welsh-language youth festival of literature, music and performing arts organised by Urdd Gobaith Cymru and is one of Europe's largest youth festivals.

During the week we ran a keepy uppy competition for the chance to win an Adidas ball signed by the Wales Euro 2016 squad including Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey.

The competition was fiercely contested and was eventually won by Becca who had a total score of 82!

It was a great opportunity to speak with many young people about our campaign and to meet pupils who had previously taken part in one of our workshops at their school.

We would like to thank the NUT for providing the opportunity to join them at their stall at the Urdd.
