The Wales Education Team has been overwhelmed by the support and engagement it has received from people across Wales.
The month included:
11 Primary schools
8 Secondary schools
4 Education club events
1 Youth club
5 School assemblies
1848 young people
7 Local Authorities
2 Radio interviews
#StopRacism17 & Safe Havens Conferences
We have been working with adults to share ideas, expertise and resources.
Education Worker Noam Devey made his debut at Stand Up to Racism’s #StopRacism17 Conference on the 21st October.
Meanwhile, Campaign Coordinator Jason Webber represented the charity at Global Learning Wales’ most recent Safe Havens Conference. The charity has been a training provider for the program over the last two years and looks forward to continuing this partnership.
And lastly but by no means least…
Wear Red Day 2017
After all the planning, build up and mailing of countless fundraising packs, Wear Red Day '17 lived up to the hype.
It was staggering to see that over 90 schools and organisations across Wales signed up for the day. Even now photos and donations from schools are still flowing in to the office.
Thank you to everyone who did something or anything to be involved with the day, your support is invaluable. We look forward to working with even more young people with the money raised.
