“We are now in the second year of our 3 year Partnership with FIFPro the world players’ union. It is great to now have our famous red cards in 32 languages, with Korean and Turkish being added as the most recent additions. The players unions have always been key supporters of our anti-racism message and we look forward to building upon this work in our 20th Anniversary year.”

Show Racism the Red Card are now entering the second year of a three year partnership with FIFPro - the world players union - with both organisations cooperating closely; assisting each other and jointly launching initiatives in the fight against racism and discrimination, aiming for more diversity in football and society.

SRtRC are one of FIFPro’s three dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners and are making use of the campaign in countries that have yet to decide on a delivery mechanism to combat discrimination and for countries where there is not an experienced NGO currently working on the ground.

In return, Show Racism the Red Card have been able to heighten their global reach using FIFPro’s networks and make a significant contribution to the global fight against racism.

Speaking about the relationship, Chief Executive of SRtRC Ged Grebby said “We are now in the second year of our 3 year Partnership with FIFPro the world players’ union.  It is great to now have our famous red cards in 32 languages, with Korean and Turkish being added as the most recent additions.”

“The players unions have always been key supporters of our anti-racism message and we look forward to building upon this work in our 20th Anniversary year.”

Using the Show Racism the Red card model, clubs from across the world will now be able to harness the power of sporting role models within their teams to promote a positive anti-racism message, and international players will be able to show their backing for SRtRC in their native language.

A full gallery of red cards in all 32 languages is now available via the charity’s Facebook page, with individuals from across the world being encouraged to post and share the SRtRC message in their native language.
