SRtRC Wales’ new staff will ensure more anti-racism workshops across Wales.
“I am excited to be working at ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ and have had a fantastic 3 weeks learning about what we do, and observing/ working alongside the experienced Education Workers to help me get up to speed. I'm looking forward to delivering across Wales #SayNoToRacism”
Lindsey Bridgeman, New Education Worker
Noam Devey and Lindsey Bridgeman recently joined the organisation and are under-going their induction in preparation for delivering workshops to young people and adults in a variety of settings across Wales. Noam and Lindsey will be working full-time and part-time respectively to complement the existing team. They both bring a tremendous amount of experience of working in the classroom with young people as well as experience working in the field of equality.
As part of their induction, both workers have been spectating a variety of workshops and events. Speaking about the workshops he’s seen Noam commented, “It was an inspiration to see the children so enthusiastic and eager to understand the history behind racism and implications on current issues.”
We are looking forward to working with them to educate people across Wales.
