Show Racism the Red Card Wales have chosen their prize winners for the Creative Arts School Competition 2014, sponsored by NUT Cymru.
“This was the third time I have been a judge for the Competition and it has never been so tight in choosing the winners. There was an amazing standard this year that demonstrates the time and effort that the children have invested in expressing their thoughts on racism and the campaign to stamp out racism.”
After long deliberation and with great difficulty, Show Racism the Red Card Wales has finally chosen their prize winners for the annual Creative Arts School Competition 2014.
The judging panel, which included former professional rugby player Colin Charvis, former professional footballer Steve Jenkins and Roberto De Benedictis (NUT Cymru) deliberated over the final entrees and found it a challenging task. The decision to pick a winner and runner-up for each category was incredibly difficult with the large volume of outstanding pieces the charity received this year.

Show Racism the Red Card Wales would like to take this opportunity to thank every single young person for entering the competition and for continuing to support our key messages.
This year saw the introduction of a special Nelson Mandela tribute category. We had an array of amazing creative ideas and platforms that showcased his life and achievements and proved to be a popular choice for the young people.
