We visited Bastion Gardens for our event with Welsh Premier League team the Seasiders
Young people from Ysgol y llys visited the Stadium for the day to learn about racism in football and society.
Prior to the event the pupils have been researching the topic and exploring the history of racism.
The morning session saw Education worker Aimee Jones deliver an educational workshop in Welsh with the young people who learnt about the issue of racism through interactive activities and discussions.
The main event took place in the afternoon; the young people had the opportunity to participate in some role play, where they took on the role of media reporters.
During the role play press conference the children had the chance to interview a panel of guests that included Paralympic team GB athlete James Roberts, Prestatyn Town FC first team player Jack Lewis and campaign worker Jason Webber.
The panel faced some challenging questions in the conference and winners of the best asked questions received Prestatyn Town FC match tickets and a SRtRC goodie bag.
SRtRC would like to thank Ysgol y llys for attending the event, Prestatyn Town FC along with James and Jack that supported the panel.
The event was funded by the Big Lottery, Football Association of Wales and the Welsh Government.
